Here's a little bit of my testimony, and why I decided to start this Blog.

Hi everyone! My name is Mackenzie (Kenzie). At the time of this post, I am 19 years old, about to be 20, and I just wanted to tell you a little about this blog and about me. So as I mentioned I am currently 19, I am enrolled in college, and majoring in communications.

I grew up in a Christian household, and I knew who Jesus was, and what he has done for us at a young age but I didn't KNOW Jesus. When I was 13 I started struggling with depression and loneliness and I was extremely lost, I didn't want to go to church anymore, I wasn't reading my bible, and I didn't engage much during Sunday school. By the time I was 15 my depression and anxiety had gotten so bad that I quit going to church altogether, and I didn't really have any friends, one day my parents asked me to go to church with them so I did, and that day is when I decided to get back in church. My depression got better, my anxiety wasn't as bad, and I started making friends at the church.

That summer I went to my church's annual camp and LOVED it. This was the first time I had ever felt the Holy Spirit, and felt the peace of God. The next summer I went back to this camp and got saved and baptized and it was the most amazing experience ever.

I have a YouTube channel Kenzie_Gip, where I do bible studies and other videos, but I decided it wasn't enough, and that I needed another way of reaching people. So came the idea to start a blog. The studies I do on YouTube are called Coco and Jesus videos, and originally I wanted my blog to have the same name, but I didn't think it would work, so I kept thinking "What would be a good blog post name? Well, coco makes me feel cozy and warm but, so does Jesus. Hm? Let’s Get Cozy With Jesus."

And that my friends is how this blog came about, I hope you all enjoy and can get something out of this. and future posts. So come on Let’s Get Cozy With Jesus.
